He attended basic training at Fort Benning, in Columbus, GA. He was deployed to Vietnam in December of 1968 as a member of the 196th Light Infantry Brigade. He is a Purple Heart Recipient as well.

Major Caffee entered the Air Force in 1979 receiving a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant after completing Officer Training School in San Antonio, Texas. She later received training as an Administrative Officer at Keesler Air Force Base. After training, she was assigned to Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana. While there, she served as an Executive officer and as the Commander for the Headquarters Squadron. After Malmstrom, Major Caffee was assigned to Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. While there she returned to Keesler Air Force Base for training as a Logistics Officer. Upon her return to Little Rock she served several years in the Logistics Division. A one year tour at Osan Air Force Base in Korea as a Logistics Officer followed and then to Hurlburt Field, Florida as Air Force Special Operations Command. Her last assignment was to Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base where Major Caffee was Logistics Security Assistance Officer. She served in support of Operation Just Cause Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. She received the Air Force Commendation Medal with oakleaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with oakleaf cluster, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

Sergeant Cuyler served in the United States Marine Corps from September 1983 to September 1990. He attended Boot Camp at Parris Island, South Carolina. He was stationed at 29 Palm Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, California from 1984 to 1987. In September of 1987 he moved to Henderson Hall Provost Marshall’s Office in Arlington, Virginia, where he remained until his honorable discharge in September of 1990. Sergeant Cuyler received the Meritorious Promotion to Corporal early in his career and 2nd Place Marine of the Year. He received commendations as Expert Rifle and Expert Pistol.

Special Agent Dalrymple joined the army in 1985 and has held many positions, including Military Police Patrol Supervisor, Aviation Warrant Officer, Drill Sergeant, M1 Tank Commander, Stinger Missile System Team Chief and Military Senior Counterintelligence Agent. He served in Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq, Inherent Resolve in Iraq and Syria, and Resolute Support in Afghanistan.

Sergeant Deem served from October of 1968 to August of 1972 in the United States Air Force. He received training in Fundament Electronics and Weapons Control, which included weapons control of the Phantom F-4E Bomber. He was assigned to the 41st Maintenance Squadron at Homestead Air Force Base and was later deployed to Udorn, Thailand with the 478th Fighter Squadron. Sergeant Deem was involved in Air to Air and Air to Ground Support missions in North and South Vietnam.

Dave Flanders
Lieutenant Flanders enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1985 and advanced through the enlisted ranks to Chief Petty Officer before earning his commission from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in 2004. Over the course of his career, he received numerous honors, including the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, 4 Coast Guard Achievement Medals, and the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation. During his enlisted service, Mr. Flanders served as a Navigator on the C-130 aircraft and as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Following his commissioning, Lieutenant Flanders continued his career as the Electronics Division Chief in Honolulu, Hawaii, and later as a Software Engineer at the Coast Guard Command and Control Engineering Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He retired in 2009 with 25 years of service.

Major Gibbs served in the United States Marine Corps for 20 Years. He enlisted in the Marines in 1993 and rose to the rank of Sergeant, before getting his commission as an infantry officer in 1999. During his service, Major Gibbs was deployed twice to Iraq, once in 2003 during the invasion of Iraq, and again as a Company Commander in 2007 in Fallujah Iraq. His awards include The Meritorious Service Medal, The Joint Service Commendation Medal, The Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with combat “V” device, and the Combat Action Ribbon with gold star in Lieu of second award.

Richard Harden
Sergeant Harden served11 years in the Army and the National Guard. He served 4 years of active duty in the Army from 1987 until 1991. He served18 months at Fort Bliss TX assigned to 1st Armored Division and 2 and half years in Hohenfels, Germany assigned to 7th combat maneuver training center. After his four years he served 7 years in the National Guard 878th Engineering Battalion in Sandersville and Augusta GA and was deployed Oman, Jordan and Cairo, Egypt during this time.

Second Lieutenant Hodges is currently serving in the US Army Reserves, Corp of Engineers. He is a 2024 graduate of Middle Georgia State University and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant through the ROTC program there. He was also awarded the Army Guaranteed Reserves scholarship while in ROTC. 2nd Lieutenant Hodges holds a BS in Rehabilitation Science and has served a seven years thus far in the US Army Reserves.

During his service he was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf during the Iranian hostage crisis on the USS Constellation.

Laretta Smith
She served active duty from 1985 to 1988 as an Electronic Warfare Specialist and Operator. She was a Troop Program Unit drilling reservist from 1989 to 1992. After her active-duty service, she joined US Army NETCOM as an Information Technology Specialist and became the command’s first cybersecurity director. She retired in 2022 after serving as the US Army Cyber Protection Brigade’s first deputy to the commander.
